Any doctors skydive through medical school?

4th year you might be able to get a jump or two in on certain weekends... but thrid year, less llikely.

I didn't start jumping though until my graduation from med school... which is good cuz then I didn't have that distraction.

Intern year... forget about it.

Don't say it like that, you'll go and discourage the poor kid.

I started jumping halfway through first year. Got my license in about 2 months. Racked up about 450 jump by the time I graduated, so it is possbile.

This year....yeah, not so much. Got 7 in this past weekend, and it had been 6 weeks since the previous jumps. So I am finding this year it really varies with my call schedule.

Good luck and have fun!

well, i've only just started med. school this year but i plan to keep it up! How long this will go on for i do not know but hey, i can always hope! I don't see why i can't, even when i go into clinical years although no doubt i won't b able to go as much, however if i work hard in my holidays i should be able to keep ticking over! What year are you in at the moment?

There's a resident at our trauma center who jumps at Titusville. Not only does he actively jump, but he does alot of medical/skydiving research projects. Almost as good as getting paid to skydive: earning med school credits for it!

In a world full of people, only some want to fly... isn't that crazy! --Seal
