sunshine 2 #4 December 1, 2006 So you admit you were breaking the law and yet don't feel you should have to pay the fine? ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
unformed 0 #5 December 1, 2006 Quotejust pay it. the state of which you have your DL wont know. I can't. Due to the speed I'm required to show up to court. And I'm not going down there cuz I'll get another ticket. edit to add: I would rather pay the fine and be done with it. The stupid kentucky laws require me to go to court. Which I'm not doing, so I have to hire a lawyer. And if I'm going to pay a lawyer, I'd rather beat the ticket. This ad space for sale.

BillyVance 35 #8 December 1, 2006 Quote the state of which you have your DL wont know. Not true in some cases. States do share info on tickets. I know. My wife got a ticket for 80 in a 55 zone in NC, and our state's DOT license dept suspended her license until that ticket was taken care of. Fucking bastards... I can't beleive they won't just allow you to pay and be done with it. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! Gawain 0 #11 December 1, 2006 Quotejust pay it. the state of which you have your DL wont know. That's not always true. Some states share violation information. Whether Illinois and Kentucky do is another matter... To Unformed...why would you get another ticket by showing up? I was going to suggest that you change the date. As for those that are heckling you about "breaking the law" and "looking for a way out", speeding tickets are more about money and revenue than safety. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Fucking bastards... right some states. but since i knoe where he lives and what state he got it in, i know they dont look for it right away. Sure, they can still find out, but it's usually after an accident or something in your home state that sparks them to look at the db for problems in other states.. sharing info usually only is for surrounding states, but a list of your state can be found on your DOT website Where is my fizzy-lifting drink? The only state that doesn't share DMV info...the last "I" heard anyway was / is AZ. Unless the laws have been changed, you could have you license pulled for 20 DUI's and still get an AZ. drivers license. It says that the only states that don't share any information are Wisconsin, Tennessee, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Michigan. I'd be wearing of the validity of that site. A ticket in Attleborough, MA (border town to RI, where I live) got me a suspended license in RI.Arianna Frances
