Jewels 0 #2 December 4, 2006 Sorry--I'm in commercial real estate. However, a lot of lawyers have just your basic liberal arts undergraduate degree (e.g., Spanish major, followed by Master of International Management), unless they're going into patent law, where they'd need engineering, etc.TPM Sister #

How bout real estate do you like it? That's GREAT--go for it! You're definitely setting yourself up for a challenge, but I'll bet that you won't regret it if you're enjoying the engineering path. I love real estate. I enjoy putting the deals together and working out things like title issues, when the parties are motivated to make a transaction come together in a win-win situation. It's not perfect; we still have our conflicts, but at least it's not like litigation where the deal has already fallen apart. It's "happy" law--who knew there was such a thing?! There are a lot of other lawyers and law students around here. Anybody else out there tonight???TPM Sister #
