floridadiver81 0 #1 February 17, 2007 So im sitting here at the computer desk..and my alti is on the corner of the desk. well..last ngiht it was dark an quiet..when the at came out and scared the shit out of me and when i jumped i hit the desk and the alti fell off and hit the ground. I had it set to zero...and after falling around th e 11,5 range. i tapped it a few times and it went back to zero again. I new to the sport and am worried that i may have messed it up. Has this happened to anyoe else? If so should i be worried about jumping it?"Age has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge, learning, respect, attitude, or personality." -yardhippie "Fight the air, and the air will kick your ass!!! 2cmyzx 0 #2 February 17, 2007 It is quite possible that you have damaged it. Take it to the DZ and jump it with another working alti and compare them. If you dont feel comfortable doing this I am sure someone there has done this before and will do it for you. It is probably fine but would check it out anyway.
