shame, this is a very intelligent funny show. I thought it was the best show this year. Everything is being cut. vanished, kidnapped, runaway, friday night lights.

On one hand I'm not surprised...I was having to try really hard to get into it.

But, it grew on me a bit and I was definitely satisfied with the most recent two episodes.

I wondered why my DVR didn't record last night's episode. I guess there wasn't one?

I just thought the show was trying too hard to be "intelligent" and "cutting edge". It was a little too heavy handed for me. And Mathew Perry's character was Chandler Bing without any "Friends"! All that sarcasm without enough warmth or personality to make him likable.

That sucks - I thought it was an incredibly intelligent show. I'm so sick of these reality type shows and the CSI's and Law & Orders are boring me lately.

It is on next week but seems only three more episodes have been ordered. Real bad news as it is all aout NBC so they cant really sell the show to another station.

I'm with you now. Last night's episode was the best yet! Hilarious! (Except for that one part) I really, really enjoyed it. Over the past three episodes I've really enjoyed the quality in writing, production, etc.

I think where the show failed was in the first two episodes. They were too introductory & lacked a lot of the funny & thoughtful quips. While I appreciated the show enough to keep watching, my guess is most people did not. Far be it for me to give advice to the talented writers, but I will anyways: I just think if you don't catch your audience right from the beginning you stand a big chance of loosing them altogether.

Having said that, I really, really hope the show continues by some grace. Again, the last three episodes have been superb.

Last night was a much better product then had previously been aired. I had gotten pretty bored with it but it was on after Heros and I was only going to watch a few minutes and ended up watching the entire show. If it keeps going like that I think it should stay but it did stumble out of the blocks... We will see if it can recover...

I love clever banter and that was seriously lacking in the first 2-3 episodes. The last few, as prevoiusly mentioned, have been chalk-full of it and I've really enjoyed it.

I really, really hope not. I'm SO into it now. I'm glad I stuck with it after the first three episodes.

I read that, too--but I'd still like for there to be a second season...and a third...and so on if it continues to be as good as it has since the 4th episode of its premier season.

I'd love to see more seasons as well but I've learned not to get my hopes up when it comes to TV. Too many of the shows I've liked in the past have been canceled without being given time to find an audience. Right now I'd be thankful for a complete season and if it gets picked up for a 2nd then bonus. Btw, has anyone been watching Friday Night Lights? That's another show that is really well done.

You know, I happened upon this show last night. My first thought: "Why is everyone on the West Wing dressed so casually?". It looks EXACTLY like "The West Wing" - no big surprise, as it's another Aaron Sorkin prjoect.

But I agree, it's a really good show.
