Coincidently I was 2:0:0 for the weekend. Too gusty on Saturday to make the load and had to head home early on Sunday for my niece's b-day party. johnsw71 0 #40 December 5, 2006 Uh, still not getting the x:y:z format, but five jumps after finally making it out to Byron. Thanks for all the fun, guys and gals. Byron rocks and I'll be back again soon. Sorry for being partially responsible for your two "not-so-successful" RW jumps, Monkey. And who says clear-n-pulls at altitude are only for summer? What a kick-ass sunset over the Pacific that was from up on high and it was even warm enough that my balls were still outside of my abdomen when I landed. siddacious 0 #41 December 5, 2006 1:5:1 beer owed Got in 5 jumps at Byron between Saturday and Sunday, with a a night of reffing a paintball game and catching up with friends in between. Got myself a belated AFF graduation gift in the form of a Neptune from the lovely GravityGirl (thanks Bonnie!), signed a few more things off of A proficiency card, and had a fun impromptu 2 way with my ground school instructor Aaron ( which culminated in my first kiss pass (both 1's above).A dolor netus non dui aliquet, sagittis felis sodales, dolor sociis mauris, vel eu libero cras. siddacious 0 #42 December 5, 2006 Quote/2/ Beer owed for getting my A on friday! I'm having a blast at the Brian Germain canopy control course at hollister this weekend. I did 2 jumps yesterday. one 7,00ft hop n' pop and one 3 way from full altitude. My shoulder was bugging me so I decided not to jump today but, I still learned a lot and had fun. I love this sport Congrats on getting your A! Hope to be able to jump with you before too long.A dolor netus non dui aliquet, sagittis felis sodales, dolor sociis mauris, vel eu libero cras. brianfry713 0 #44 December 5, 2006 I had lots of fun and learned a ton at the Brian Germain basic and advanced canopy course in Hollister this weekend. He covered topics including parachutes, canopy flight, swooping, mental aspects, packing, rigging, freeflying, and general skydiving. I'd highly recommend it to anyone from just off AFF to an experienced swooper. There was a lot of stuff I would have never considered or thought about that now make sense. We also did some RW, freeflying, and high altitude hop & pops. Brian filmed and debriefed our landings, and I got to go up and do some close proximity canopy flying with Brian. I made some huge improvements in my swooping.
