Okay, I can't decide.

Recommended Posts

I need to buy a new tux - my old one is in a sad state.

I use it primarily for going to the opera but I'm thinking I can also use it to Tango in as well as I've been doing a lot more of that lately.

I really like the classic english grey but that is more a day time outfit.

So I'm torn between these two. I lean to the black jacket/white tie but decided to open the issue to voting.

With your complexion, you'd better go with the black jacket and white tie. :P:D

I've always wore the black, like it a lot better, you can get a colored vest/tie if you want a color change. I agree with the guy above me, the white is for the servers. .. white tie, well, i see tht for the conductor *orchestra leader* and MAYBE 1st violin can wear one too

Black tuxedo. You can always change the vest, tie and shoes to match your partners dress. Black is classic for the Tango and will be more versatile for other occasions.
Additionally, with your coloring the black will suit your coloring better...unless of course you are as tan as George;)

Opera, tuxedo, tango . . . . Surely you realize that the mere use of words like these will inspire women everywhere. I use the word "inspire" euphemistically.

Uh oh...more potential members to his fan(tasizing about him) club. :D:P

So who's the lucky lady that you dance these tangos with?

:)Not that I necessarily need to know, but (other) inquiring minds are wondering.:D:D

If she's that lady in the black tie pic... I'd be wondering if she might be updating her hair style from the 80's :D:D:D
