BillyVance 35 #1 December 12, 2006 I'm soooo doomed! I used to solve the old Rubik's cube in 45 to 50 seconds when I was in high school 20 years ago, but this cube, given to me by my wife's grandmother, is guaranteed to make me crazy (her words). I'm not sure whether to give it a try or blow it up with a M-80.... I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
Icon134 0 #3 December 12, 2006 yeah, that one is pretty challenging... the key to figuring it out was to only sort of look at the numbers... let me try to explain... it turns out that there is a distinct top and bottom... once you figure out which is the top and which is the bottom the "sides" of the cube aren't really so bad as the numbers are right side up (well except for the center one... but that's another story all together) if you situate the cube so the top it up... (probably easier shown then said.) when I did it the 1st time it took me a while to that out... once I did that it olny took me about an hour (while several of us were out at dinner...) it was a hellava lot easier to do that cube then my self made blind folded one (used one of those old school label makers and made a "braile" rubik's cube back in College, yeah I'm a bit of a dork... )Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
