Once that warrant has been issued and you are under arrest, you have forfeited all civil liberties (read: not your constitutional liberties) Until those men are secured in a cell, i'm not comfortable. Hey, cops got it rough? hehe. Alright I'll play. But there's a line... and it looks as though it was crossed deep enough to require passports and return tickets. At best, it's 'understandable' that you are uncomfortable... but we chose our law enforcement officers hoping that they do not lash out or mistreat our civilians because of said discomfort. They are expected to deal with us (innocent or guilty) humanely at least. So what is your excuse for the other allegations?... You know, the ones that took place AFTER 'those men' were in a cell? No phone call, No insulin, No looking outside! Sorry, but by that time, we are all well aware that the captives pose no threat and the cops are "comfortable". Sh*T these guys were physically threatenned! "If you look out that window again I'll crack your....." Though I know it has something to do with making the officer feel "comfortable"... I think it's more a "Comfortable with my lack of manhood" type of situation. Bwahaa! I'm gonna make a "send this to ten of your friends" email virus out of this. Fucking power-hungries My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Fucking power-hungries Once the suspects are incarcerated it's out of law enforcement's hands. it's now in the hands of the department of corrections, a completely different story. A lot of those guys are power hungry. I make no excuses for their behavior, it was not what i was trying to defend, only the officer's takedown. SgtATON 0 #28 December 15, 2006 Yikes. First of all the jail is run by the Sheriff's Dept. not the Dept. of corrections (DOC). The prison is run by the DOC. Belive me those DOC guys are mch worse than those Deputys are. Second this is like a b*tch fest for people that did something wrong and got caught. Boo friggin hoo. You had a bunch of people at a place doing something wrong and you are suprised that they stormed the place brandishing....God forbid...guns. Police and guns imagine that. Third you got arrested with a bunch of people and well, geez it took those guys a while to get all of you booked in. The phones didn't work and that is bullsh*t. I agree there. As far as the denial of medical attention, you see a nurse when you got there Ive been told. They figure out the medicine to give to you not the Deputies. What do they know about medicine? Bottom line = You got dumb and you got caught. Get over it like everyone else does. P.S. If you loosen handcuffs the person will take their hands out. They are also made of steel and steel handcuffs are going to hurt. Life sucks. Dont break the law and you wont have to wear them.

DougH 270 #30 December 15, 2006 This thread is a whole year old?!!! Shesh are you bored or something. Run out of little old ladies who took the tags of their matresses to arrest, and now have no one else to protect society from? This is very similar to the situation here on campus. The cops are preocuppied busting 20 year olds trying to sneak some Mike Hard Lemonade into their dorm room, while at the same time there has been several severe attacks on students by a group of thugs. We are talking about a girl and her boyfriend being beaten down with a baseball bat. But at least those 20 year olds are safe from themselves. Have to set those priorities straight, because the law is the law, and there are obviously enough cops to go around. The law is the law after all. Because that makes as much sense as busting a bunch of people wanting to gamble in the privacy of their own home."The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
shropshire 0 #32 December 15, 2006 How about the double standards - apparently the best games are run by cops? How many times do THEY get busted? (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome

DougH 270 #34 December 15, 2006 That is a pretty black and white way of looking at things, and unrealistic. So we are going to use the limited number of cops to pull over EVERY ONE who is going slightly over the speed limit. And since the cops are busy writing a ticket to Mary Lou who was doing 68 in a 65 while she sobs in her minivan, they are to busy to catch the more reckless drivers that they would have been previously targeting. That is asinine!!!"The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Personal accountability has nothing to do with the fact that cops should be knocking down the doors of gang members instead of holding generally law abiding, and socially benificial individuals at gun point. You only have some many resources, there were better ways to use them. Then again drug dealers don't normally make money for the police department when they are arested, they can't post bond, and they are a drain on the system. Rich guys on the other hand post bonds, and write fat checks. I am sure that has nothing to do with this bust."The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I am sure that has nothing to do with this bust. i havn't remotely made referance to ny of thqat I was refering to people complaining about being busted when they volunterily break the law. But while were on it if people in there communities uphled the law rigorously there woud be less crime overall anyway. Dont stand idll by and allow unlawfull act to go unattended. do SOMTHING. Too many people leave all to the police, who as mentioned are under resurced to the max alreadyYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS!
