2fat2fly 0 #1 December 19, 2006 I'm making plans to see bio-mom over the holidays and when I ran the route through streets and trips, the first part is the same way I used to go to Skydive Monroe. Even though I didn't get down there often, the last couple of years, it is where I started and I miss it being there. Warmest wishes to a great group of people where ever you call home now.I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried
micduran 0 #2 December 19, 2006 Skydive Monroe was the first DZ I went to when I moved to GA last year. It is very sad that it closed. The other DZs in the area are nice and they all have their good points, but they just don't have the same vibe that Monroe had. Be patient with the faults of others; they have to be patient with yours.
popsjumper 2 #3 December 19, 2006 Orfun...Monroe orfun....I miss the place already. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
chaoskitty 0 #4 December 19, 2006 I met lots of good friends at Monroe. Everyone is still around though. More or less.
littleskycrab 0 #5 December 19, 2006 yeah, i really, really miss monroe. not only was it a warm, welcoming place, it was very close to my house! luckily, most of us are still around. we also have little reunion dinners once every few months. we had one in july and another in november. maybe we will see you at the next one.Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leaves you speechless, remain that way. Say nothing and listen as heaven whispers, "Do you like it? I did it just for you."
