Dougjumper 0 #1 September 20, 2005 Well, My best friend has three little ones and his oldest just turned 6yrs old. You should have seen the look on his face to see his Brand New Honda motorcycle. I remember when I got my Brand New XR80 Honda in 1979. It really blew me away totally didnt expect it at all..I was like totally estatic
 Brian425 0 #2 September 20, 2005 Thanks for the smiles. I remember the first bike I got. Wow, it seems like yesterday (or 24 years ago I get confused at this age). I can't wait to have kids to do that with. The wife is acutally encouraging it. She says "It will be good for them to go out with dad and get you all out of the house for a while." HMMM, might have to fire up the old CR. I haven't ridden it once this year. Even the street bikes have only seen about 2500 miles. This adulthood thing stinks sometimes. Tell the kids to have tons of fun with it. Great to see that the have gear on. No gear no ride, even at 36 years old. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand. My chest protector saved me from getting impaled by a limb once no joke. I really enjoy trail riding in the Hills of Tennesse especially around Fall its so nice. Jacob really takes time to listen and hes such a good Kid. All his kids have such good manners and they are a blast.. I remember very clearly that it cost $425, tax included, back then. Getting a "man child" on a bike as soon as possible is very important in my opinion.
 Thanatos340 1 #6 September 21, 2005 I just had to put my daughters ride up for sale. She now has other interests - Cheerleading and Boys are now more important than Racing. They grow up fast. Enjoy every minute with them. Here is her toy. Her best run was 9.93 at 74mph. A little quicker than your average stock 5.0 mustang. She raced from the time she was 8 till she was 12.
