Well the worst quake I have felt was in Greece in 99, that was fucking bad! I am talking about proper shaking! It was a 5.8 and it happened just a month after a big quake hit Turkey. I was in my bedroom watching tv, our flat is on the third floor, so it was a bit of a shaking. My grandparents where at the 7th floor so I don't even want to know what that felt like

I lived in San Francisco for 3 years. Went through three 5.5s. After the third one, I just rolled over and went back to sleep. Once I saw it was only the pictures shaking on the wall, I knew it wasn't a big deal.

My first was on a TDY to Guatemala in 1976... nasty nasty.. there were several hundred killed on the Air Base and the town.
It was a nasty one... and to be in an underdeveloped country made it even more "interesting"
