BillyVance 35 #1 December 23, 2006 No no no.... nothing kinky here, I'm talking about the real thing! So how big is the turkey you're gonna cook for Christmas dinner? I just bought a whopping 20.5 pound big bad sonofabitch today. Hell, I'm gonna have 12 people to feed Monday afternoon... That big ass turkey should be enough. Shell666 0 #4 December 23, 2006 No turkey here for Christmas. Never had turkey at Christmas. My 93 year old Baba is making a traditional Ukrainian Christmas Dinner on Sunday night. 12 meatless dishes. Same celebration we've had since I was born (and before that, I guess!!!). I can't WAIT for dinner!!! YUMMY! 'Shell'Shell

FlyingJ 0 #6 December 23, 2006 A fondue meal for us. Couple different kinds of meat cut and divided up, everybody takes their time around the table cooking the little pieces a few at a time. Makes for quite a long meal with lots of conversation. I'll be honest that I've been sick of it for the last few years, but it still makes for a great family meal. Years ago we started with cheese and ended with chocolate, but we now skip both of those and just go for more meat!Killing threads since 2004.

I just got back from traipsing through the slush/turned ice, sitting in dead standstill traffic heading to/from the mall, and I have that to look forward to again. I do too, in general, but for some reason I've grown incredibly tired of it for Christmas dinner. Probably just because it's the exact same thing every year. I prefer to change things up!Killing threads since 2004.
