Drove just over 900 this last weekend just so Vectorboy could have someone to flock with.50 donations so far. Give it a try. wildfan75 1 #16 December 27, 2006 It's about 130 miles for me. I'm surprised that Todd (L.O.) hasn't responded with his 50 feet. How great would it be to live in one of the hangers on the dz, a mear 50 feet from the club house?!?!
riggerrob 643 #17 December 27, 2006 "Back in the day' I had to drive an average of 90 minutes to the DZ. Then I quit my day job and moved closer to the DZ (i.e. Perris Ghetto). Now I live a 20 minute walk or 7 minute bicycle ride from the DZ.

livendive 8 #24 December 27, 2006 I have two "home" dropzones. DZ-A is less than 2 miles from my house and has reasonably jumpable weather March through November with occasional good weekends in December and February. I started and spent my first several years there. DZ-B is 125 miles away and only runs May through October, but I've spent most of the last two years there and will be back essentially every weekend in '07. Both dropzones have their pro's and con's, and right now DZ-B's Caravan is wintering at DZ-A. It's nice living in an area where dropzones try to support each other rather than stab each other in the back. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" freeflir29 0 #25 December 27, 2006 Quote especially you freeflir29), there’s gotta be something closer... how often do you guys jump... Oh I pass many on the way home. I have asked but they seem to frown at the idea of me opening the door of the airliner over a European DZ. So.....I have to wait until I get home. I get in a months worth of jumping after each 90 days or so worked. Quote My eternal thanks, does that count? More than you know.
