ryan_d_sucks 0 #1 December 28, 2006 I have a quick question, I figured there would be someone who knew/had experience here (bunch of low lifes) I got my wisdom teeth out, and I have 1 painkiller left. My mouth is kind of bugging me still, so I'm thinking about taking the painkiller (Demerol). I also was planning on drinking a 40. It says not to mix booze with the pills, but will only 1 pill and 3 beers (40 oz) be bad, or is it more a safety warning for people to not go out and get hammered while on pills? I'm not trying to get _fucked_, I just want to drink a beer and this tooth is kind of bothering me. Ideas/Opinions?

AggieDave 6 #3 December 28, 2006 Hey, its your liver. If you want to blow it out and then pass out from two depressents at once, then more power to you. Hopefully your heart rate won't drop to a dangerous level while you're passed out. Otherwise you could die.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." TrophyHusband 0 #5 December 28, 2006 it sounds like you're sticking to the rule of 4. any combination of drinks and pills that equal 4 is fine (your liver may not agree). my preference is 2 pills and 2 beers, "Your scrotum is quite nice" - Skymama www.kjandmegan.com
AggieDave 6 #6 December 28, 2006 QuoteMy question is weather in the amounts I stated if the effects would be that pronounced... Some will say no, some will say yes, it depends a lot on your body. Personally I wouldn't abuse a prescription pain killer like that.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
kbordson 8 #7 December 28, 2006 Not enough info. You didn't list the dose of the pill. Your tolerance to the meds/alcohol. Your weight. Your liver function. Your general health. Just because one person might be able to get away with mixing them doesn't guarantee that you would be able to. and with consequences like respiratory depression and death.... think about it. livendive 8 #13 December 28, 2006 In my purely amateur opinion, you'd have to be in exceptionally poor health and that be an exceptionally strong pill for it to pose any significant risk. My biggest problem with your post is the concept of actually wanting a beer that's available in 40 oz bottles. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" Lindercles 0 #14 December 28, 2006 Oh please, are you really going to listen to these line toeing sycophants? The "warnings" about mixing pills and alcohol are just another mechanism of the government to prevent us from enjoying our bodies. Break the shackles! Drink the booze! Take the pills! Enjoy LIFE!!! azdav 0 #15 December 28, 2006 Here's what you do..... Grab a seat down at the emergency room, put your malt liquor in a sippy cup and swallow a handfull of pills. Then you just enjoy the ride If anything bad happens, they'll be able to dispose of your carcass properly. Noooobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!!! M.P.F.C.
