matt1215 0 #1 January 1, 2007 I'm hungry, and my tastebuds are in a strange mood tonight. I started dinner by frying several cloves of garlic in a melted stick of butter for several minutes, with lots of lemon pepper and parmesan cheese. I poured that on a baking sheet full of asparagus, covered it with foil, added more garlic, and put it in the oven for 30 min of 350. Once I serve up the asparagus, the excess butter's going into a bowl and getting soaked up by some Kings Hawaiian bread. I started out thinking I'd make a healthy dinner, but I might just be kicking my cholesterol up several points. What are you having?

Shell666 0 #5 January 1, 2007 Chicken breasts baked in a tarragon, lemon, mustard and butter sauce ("Michelle's Fabulous Breasts" if you must know the name of the recipe! ), risotto and a spinach salad with homemade vinegrette. matt1215 0 #6 January 1, 2007 Mmmm, chicken and rice sounds mighty tasty. I might have to make that later as a second dinner. That big plate of asparagus was tasty, but I'm still hungry. The King's bread and garlic butter is tasty
 matt1215 0 #7 January 1, 2007 What's on it? Tomatos, freshly sliced and good quality Mozz cheese, some olive oil, basil on a nice dough. Too bad we don't have a traditional wood burning oven (who has one of those in their house anyways). Since that would give a lot more flavor. We have a decent bottle of Australian merlot to go with the pizza. It should be really good. We haven't tried this one before, but we've had it before at some better italian style resturants. Next time we do a pizza I think we might try a traditional deep dish style pizza.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
