Quantum Leap (Sullivan, MO) Re-Opened under New Ownership Yesterday

Recommended Posts

Quantum Leap in Sullivan MO re-opened yesterday with a group of core jumpers, new owners, and a 182 and a new pilot.

Quantum Leap Closed down back in July when the owner and pilot was killed in an otter crash along with 5 others on board.

We flew just 2 loads yesterday because of low celings, but it was such a joy to see skydivers back in the air over Sullivan.

I personally want to thank Paul and Jo for putting forth the effort to make sure that we have our dropzone back. It wasnt an easy task.

If you're ever in Missouri and want a jump. I personally want to invite you to the new Quantum Leap/ St. Louis Skydiving Center.

There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan

Congratulations...that's fantastic! B|

My best to all of you, and hopefully I'll be able to make it your way sometime this summer to support you - I'm not that far away;)

I was wondering about Quantum Leap just the other day...tried looking up the old website, but it had been closed.

Glad to hear it's back. I look forward to making it down there sometime this next spring (once I get my license that is, lol).

This was my Christmas wish (yea, I know that sounds cheesey - so?)

I started jumping at Quantum Leap in July of 05'. Having jumped at other DZ's it just has not been the same. Now I have my DZ back.
