I swear, if f*#king winter decides to show up in April or May I'll.....

Recommended Posts

....well, I don't actually know what I will do, but it won't be pretty.>:(

Here in the the northeast there is no winter. We've had no measurable snow...zip...nada. We're running 20-30 degrees above normal. Ski resorts are crying and whining.

Anyway, I personally hate winter. I just have this sinking feeling the jet stream will move and we'll get pounded on in April or May.[:/]

That's all,
Chris

A ski instructor friend of mine decided not to work in Tahoe this season; instead he drove to NY to work and visit his hometown.

He's not real happy with his decision. ;)

I was just thinking the same thing as I was driving back from the bank this afternoon. Its 78 outside here. Granted, I live in Florida and live here for a reason, but you can usually count on Jan and Feb being our "winter" months. I wouldnt mind some cooler weather right now. It was 83 here yesterday....:|

I'm going to be the biggest bitch next summer if I don't get some damn winter here in FL. Twelve months of heat is too much to take! >:( I bought the ingredients to make homemade chicken noodle soup, thinking that it is January and it would warm us up. I'm going to have to turn the A/C down so we don't sweat when we're eating it tonight! :S

You guys are welcome to a little bit of OUR winter! After our two blizzards in the space of a week, they say we're getting more snow (only 3-6 inches this time) tomorrow. I love Colorado and so it's not a serious complaint--but Florida sounds pretty okay right about now! Just so there's no more shoveling for a while. . . .

You know something there Scott? Even with all that technical crap you linked I knew it was from El-Nino.:o

Whenever the northwest gets pounded by storms that stack like airplanes on a tarmac, the east tends to have a mild winter. It's because the jet stream shoots up to Canada bringing our weather up from the Atlantic...thus the mild climate right now.

As you can see the thing I don't want to happen is for the jet stream to drop down toward late winter. Then we get that nasty Canadian shit.>:(

Hey they finally plowed our street today, of course it didn't do a bit of good since it's all ice. >:(

I need to shovel the entrance to the driveway but I might as well save it for morning, they are saying 3 inches for the commute.

My tulips are gone by July. Learn your bulbs.:P

The weird thing is, we had kind of a cool summer last year. I don't remember many days above 90.

Anyway, the weather is weird. It's all the cows fault. Studies show that their farts contribute more to global warming. I hope Al Gore can fix it in time.:P

Wanna come visit me and go ice fishing in a boat? We'll have iced drinks to make it official ice fishing. We'll throw ice cubes in the lake and fish for them.
:P

Normaly this time of year there are cars on the lake ice. I think this will be the winter of no ice at all.

as mild as it is, it's not stopping quite few 'genius' types around here from still going out on thin and partially frozen lakes
