In the market for a new printer

Recommended Posts

My Lexmark X5150 took a lightning strike (I think) and prints blue bars over any print job except a newly made black and white word document.
I'm leaning towards an Epson all-in-one at the moment.
Anyone have any suggestions.
Don't need the fax feature but like to use scan and print.

My wife has an Epson Stylus all-in-one printer (I can't remember exactly which one). It generates amazing quality prints (especially photos) and she has had no problems with it at all.

Oh, and by the way, congratulations for not posting a "what kind of mp3/PC-Apple/iPod/Cell Phone should I buy"... :PB|

Having said all that, cNet has some pretty good reviews etc.

I tend to stick to HP because the cartridge includes a print head. I had a bad experience with Canon and print heads.

Don't know if I completely understand your post. I'm talking about a ink jet printer. Elaborate please?
The reason I'm looking towards an Epson is the individual color cartridges.
