It's hard to say good bye to your buddy (and Bob sure was a great one, according to the vid and the memorial...), but you did do the right thing. You let Bob go on to the Bridge, and you will meet again; and until then, Bob will hang out in the sun, play with friends new and old, and be painfree and happy...and then one day, Bob will be back at your legs, winding 'round them, purring in happiness and gratitude.

And until then, remember that Bob loved you, and you loved Bob. Nothing will take that away, and nothing can dim the memories. So hold on to those, and know that you WILL meet again.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's terribly hard...
