adventurechick 0 #1 June 1, 2006 So I was telling my friends tonight about joining the Pink Mafia and I was telling them how I want my muff # as well.... they all started cracking up and snickering (yes, I'm 21 and I do hang out with college peeps)... I didn't get it. Thirty minutes later, they finally tell me what a muff diver is..... so am I the only one on here who had never heard this term? When I think of the word muff, I think of like ear muffs... or the guys at z-hills. Did they name their group off the sexual meaning? The MB was started by Dennis McGlynn in Texas a while back. He wore ear muffs and jumped with newbies. Whenever someone needed to be organized, people would say, "Go find the muff guy". That is still the general idea. Making sure that people are having fun skydiving. There is probably 3500+ members worldwide now. There are no responsibilities.
