A continuation of The Night Before Christmas

I love the story The Night Before Christmas, but the real work seems to come AFTER Christmas. It takes me several weeks to recover. What would you all put in the story? (yes I know most of us wait until after the New Year to take the decorations down)

Everyone hurried to get their decorations down,

When moms and dads and all good girls and boys,

struggled to manage the mountain of toys (uh - KIDS' toys people)
