Looking into being a rigger

Recommended Posts

I searched and found this old post.

http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=585697;page=1;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=100;

The links are no longer working. Im interested in any further information about the requirements, process, and costs of becoming a rigger. I wont be able to make it out to the dropzone for a couple of weeks to talk with one of the riggers. Any information is greatly appreciated!

ThanksB|

AS one of the BEST Master Riggers I have ever met said...just don't get more than 2000 jumps...it will make your riggers license obsolete.....
Cause every MOFO out there with mopre than 2000 jumps thinks he knows more than him (a MR with 30 years in the field and working for NASA as well)....man I died laughing!!!!

I hope you get your ticket, there are good riggers out there willing to share what they know.

Hooknswoop (Derek) used to have an updated version of that article on his website. Unfortunately, he seems to have decided not to continue to run the site - there's no longer a DNS record for pookiebearrigging.com.

Despite this setback, the magic of Google allows us to see the page as it was on 4 Nov 2006.
