Royd 0 #32 January 12, 2007 Be careful. My brother got greedy over a car that was underpriced, and found out that it had been sold several times, and never left the driveway. He never got the car, and lost a chunk of money.
AggieDave 6 #33 January 12, 2007 A 1994 Acura Integra for $3k? It could be a good deal, or there is a significant amount of mechanical work needing to be done. You might find that a valve job needs to be done, that there's a lot of carbon buildup on the heads and pistons, or that a piston ring is allowing blow by. You might find that the transmission's syncros are going out or that the front end is shot. There's not such thing as a free lunch, especially when buying a used car. If you understand this and you're wanting a car that looks good and you're willing to do some work, then its no big deal. Otherwise, buyer beware.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
Gene03 0 #34 January 12, 2007 Careful, it might be a flood car with lots of Febreeze sprayed in the interiour.“The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him. sundevil777 102 #35 January 12, 2007 That certainly looks like it is in good condition. I doubt that it was always driven gently by a little old lady, just going to church every week, always maintained by Gomer at the local fillin' station. I think it more likely that it has often been driven hard and put away wet, the tachometer regularly bouncing against the rev limiter... I can't understand why he would be so willing to take only 2K when you clearly were willing to pay more.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
willard 0 #36 January 12, 2007 '94 Integra LS for $2k. Almost a foregone conclusion that car has spent the last 13 years getting the balls run out of it by everyone who sat in left seat. Be very careful on this one. VERY careful. This car could end up costing a hell of a lot more than $2k.

floridadiver81 0 #38 January 12, 2007 Thats why im having someone physically go to the care and check it out before i send any money anywhere. Im starting to think it really is a scam. He has been replying to my emails regularly....well...i sent him an email early this morning wheni woke up(4:30am) asking for the physical address where the car currently is...to have someone go check it out...and its now almost 3pm and still no responce. If i dont get a responce to it im reporting him to ebay. I read the disclaimers on ebay and they specifically state that if the seller cannot answer any of the questions that are detailed then it most likely is a scam."Age has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge, learning, respect, attitude, or personality." -yardhippie "Fight the air, and the air will kick your ass!!!
