livendive 8 #1 January 12, 2007 You know the standard whuffo queries about why we bother wearing helmets. If we take the time to explain that getting knocked out in freefall can have bad results, and bad landings can be survivable with most of a parachute overhead, they usually get it. These guys though? I'm assuming there's just a law. Oh...and there ain't a fucking chance in hell anyone would ever catch me doing this. I'm WAY too afraid of heights. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" Slappie 9 #2 January 12, 2007 I hope like hell those are BASE rigs on their backs! WOW!! That's a scary path. Can't be real. DougH 270 #7 January 12, 2007 I don't know how they pedal with out their huge cannon balls nuts getting in the way. On the helmet note, they are probably wearing them for rock fall, not free fall. McDuck 0 #8 January 12, 2007 Looks like the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. I have a beautiful picture I took of those cliffs as the fog was receding. I thought I was bold, leaning over the edge on my stomach. You wouldn't catch me riding a bike there. It may well be PS, but the copyrights and narrative here make me lean more towards belief, especially after checking out other pages on that site. Oh, and McDuck was right...it's the cliffs of Moher. I'm WAY too afraid of heights. Blues, Dave It's not the height I'm afraid of. If I had a base rig on, I'd do it, but only if the surface below was flat open ground, not water. How the hell would we get out of that water if we had to land in it, unless we had recovery boats out there? hookitt 1 #19 January 12, 2007 If you're as dialed on a bicycle as those guys, that ride seems reasonable. I could walk it but riding it is out of my league. For you BASE rig wearing bike riders, it looks a liiiitttle bit low for that. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry...
