floridadiver81 0 #1 January 13, 2007 So after i have a few people that were willing to help me out with going to check the car out...i email the seller and ask for the address of the car to have someone come by and look at it. now...since we started communication about the car....i would get a responce from him roughly 4-5 hours after sending him an email. I sent him an email at 4:30am this morning before i went to work asking for the address. It is now 8pm...no responce. the car was taken off ebay...the listing no longer exists. I did what ebay reccommended and started asking detailed questions about the car...where it is currently registered.....the address.....no responce. It pays to do research. Some of you thought i was the stupid one...if i was in fact the stupid one her would have my money and i would be car-less...so haha...ya'll were wrong on that one I do want to thank those that pm'ed me and responded to the thread though. Ya'll have truely shown me that skydivers help out other skydivers when needed...and if i could ever be of service my pm is open to all!"Age has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge, learning, respect, attitude, or personality." -yardhippie "Fight the air, and the air will kick your ass!!! skyboyblue 0 #6 January 13, 2007 some young jumper that wouldn't take advice from dz.com that he was jumping too high a wingload for his experience and would get hurt much like you initially wouldn't take advice that the car was a scam and would get hurt. glad you made the better decision

lekstrom10k 0 #8 January 13, 2007 Detroit also has a Hot Rod show next month like the new car show going on as I write. You can also sell cars in the back corner. This guy had a Suburban that his buddy helped put in a new over head light. they kind of drilled a little to far and went through the roof, but didnt notice the screws sticking out until they got out. If they pulled it out it would leak and a car top carrier sort of covered it a little. The car got stolen the insurance paid off oh well. He was at the show and saw one just like his only a different color. It even had a screw sticking through the roof with matching paint of the new color on it. They told the cops there then called the number on the for sale sign in the window and waited. Needless to say the new owner didnt get a refund on his ticket back in either.
