SCION

Recommended Posts

I've not really looked into it much... but with a couple of minutes research it appears to be the offspring of toyota as I understand it they are using Scion to appeal to a younger generation.

Toyota makes good cars... so I would consider that a Pro.

I wish I could give first hand info... :$ but I can't...

I drove Mark's one day. I think they're kinda ugly, but I was impressed with how much you could see out of all of those windows, really no blind spots at all. When you put the seats down, it has a lot of cargo room. If you lower the suspension like he did, you can go really fast around curves!

Sorry, don't have first-hand experience either.
Like a couple other people mentioned, I thought all Scions were boxy-ugly, like bad Fred Flintstone cars.

But I looked this one up on the Edmond's site and this TC was a nice surprise, and apparently they put some power in it - that's one thing I have to have, especially in a small car. I have to be able to get out of the way of semi's. Plus, it does have the Toyota name behind it for quality.

Good luck with it...hope you enjoy it.

I think a lot of people, like me, had only seen the one type of Scion which is a totally square box on wheels - iffin' I knew how to do a clicky, I'd post one up.

I had never seen one like Apollard's - her's is cute, and I like the color too!

After test driving the Scion tC today, I realized that I need more head and leg room, so I decided to test drive the Toyota Camry and really like it. It drives really smooth, no road noise, lots of head room and leg space in the front and back seats. Furthermore, it's more professional for work and comfortable for long roadtrips.

Apollard24 laughed at me for choosing a "granny car" ..but the SE looks sporty with the sunroof, spoiler, alloy wheels and tinted windows..and I love the magnetic gray color shown in the pic below.

I can't beleive some people think it's ugly. I think it's rather cute. And i love the blue.

That model, I could drive. I wouldn't touch the boxy one.
