RkyMtnHigh 0 #1 January 14, 2007 Pros? Cons? I'm getting the sedan (tC) soon and just wanted to get feedback from other Scion owners about what they like or dislike..thanks. _________________________________________
Icon134 0 #2 January 14, 2007 I've not really looked into it much... but with a couple of minutes research it appears to be the offspring of toyota as I understand it they are using Scion to appeal to a younger generation. Toyota makes good cars... so I would consider that a Pro. I wish I could give first hand info... but I can't...Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... skymama 37 #6 January 14, 2007 I drove Mark's one day. I think they're kinda ugly, but I was impressed with how much you could see out of all of those windows, really no blind spots at all. When you put the seats down, it has a lot of cargo room. If you lower the suspension like he did, you can go really fast around curves! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
ImGunnaJump 0 #7 January 14, 2007 Sorry, don't have first-hand experience either. Like a couple other people mentioned, I thought all Scions were boxy-ugly, like bad Fred Flintstone cars. But I looked this one up on the Edmond's site and this TC was a nice surprise, and apparently they put some power in it - that's one thing I have to have, especially in a small car. I have to be able to get out of the way of semi's. Plus, it does have the Toyota name behind it for quality. Good luck with it...hope you enjoy it."...I've learned that while the "needs" in life are important (food, water, shelter), it's the "wants" in life (ice cream, chocolate, sex) that make it worth the effort." It drives really smooth, no road noise, lots of head room and leg space in the front and back seats. Furthermore, it's more professional for work and comfortable for long roadtrips. Apollard24 laughed at me for choosing a "granny car" ..but the SE looks sporty with the sunroof, spoiler, alloy wheels and tinted windows..and I love the magnetic gray color shown in the pic below. _________________________________________
 normiss 903 #22 January 15, 2007 ummmm...what were you doing putting the seats down in my car???
