boinky 0 #27 January 18, 2007 I'd give up my sense of taste. That way, I could eat those things that they claim are so healthy for me, but since I can currently taste them, I gag on them. Fish, tuna fish, celery, tomatoes, etc. Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? Can even clean up vomit and dog shit without gagging. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.
StreetScooby 5 #30 January 18, 2007 I am completely deaf in one ear. I have no sense of "sound direction". The worst thing someone can do is call my name out in public. I just stand there and turn around in circles, trying to figure out who is calling me. Likewise, it's hard to keep up in group conversations, especially if there is alot of background noise. What's even worse, my brain appears to fill in the gaps all by itself, and I find myself sitting thinking, "Did they really just say that?" We are all engines of karma
McDuck 0 #31 January 18, 2007 I was born without a sense of smell, and I've gotten along just fine. the question I'm most frequently asked is "Has your sense of taste been affected?" My answer: "How would I know?" karenmeal 0 #33 January 18, 2007 I guess a sense of smell, although that would make eating less enjoyable.. but maybe that would be good for me. Riding the plane with YOU is reason enough to be thankful I don't have a sense of smell. Actually, I've gathered data over the years, most recently from my Cora, that my body tends to retain good smells longer than most people. Maybe it's compensation. McDuck 0 #37 January 18, 2007 No, it has nothing to do with your appearance. It has everything to do with how my eyes water and my hair falls out when you blow chaff.
