happythoughts 0 #1 January 18, 2007 I was browsing a site and I know two sub-directory names. When I go to the parent directory, there are no links. Even when you go to the page info, there is no link info under the tabs. I think it is just a server. Anyway, I noticed that the date/time stamp on the parent directory is greater than that of sub-directories. There must be other sub-directories. How do I find out? Would anonymous FTP work? Cornholio 0 #2 January 18, 2007 Need More Info... What kind of site? http/ftp/gopher? What do you mean by "go to page info" ? What tabs? Like browser tabs in Firefox? Anyway, the root dir has a newer date cause there are probably directories there that you can't see cuz they are hidden. OR the root directory was copied and just that dir has the latest timestamp. The sub-dirs will not reflect the new timestamp. There could be lots of reasons - but I'm just guessing at this point as I have no idea WTF you're talking about without more info. Butthead: Whoa! happythoughts 0 #3 January 19, 2007 What kind of site? http/ftp/gopher? HTTP What do you mean by "go to page info" ? If you right click on a page (not any of the graphics), there is a View Page Info (not View Page Source). What tabs? In the Page Info box, there are Media and Links tabs. The Media tab will have HTML and Image source names. Root dir info. The root directory will have a newer date if files/dir were added to it.
