Where were you in September of last year? We had a badass cake, but that's a really bad ass cake too!

Then it really would have been a skydiver wedding. Everyone in the wedding (except the flower girl) were jumpers or had done some jumps. The preacher was a jumper...

umm..september of last year...i wasnt jumping yet. I didnt join the board till november 25th...but from now on...if im approached correctly....ill do cakes for people in the skydiving world.

Im a "cook" in the navy right now. While i have been in i got my Sous chef certidifaction(CSC) through the ACF. Currently working on my Executive Pastry Chef(CEPC) certification.

Thank you for all the compliments. I have done better but unfortunately i do not have pictures of those. Here are a few of the cakes i have done for work. The quality isnt near as good as i can do as i found out that i was getting screwed when doing cakes. I was doing them for my chief to make HER look good...and i wasnt getting ANY recognition at all...so i started declining the quality. You may thing that is wrong....but when you do 26 cakes in a matter of three months and NEVER get a thank you for any of them...you kinda get a little irratated.

Nice cakes! That takes a lot of skill.

My mom and I used to mess around with cake decorating, I got pretty good at making roses. She has since taken some classes and gotten really good at making flowers.

I'm still stuck at my mediocre level using humor to disguise the lack of skill.

Here is my last cake that I am still proud of. (The cake was too big for the tray and that kind of sucked.)

Edited to add: And yes I know that clouds aren't blue, but it was a retroactive attempt to add some color.

good fun is fine..but being inth e navy for 6 almsot 7 years...you get really sick and tired of hearing the same stereotype over and over again...it just gets old...thats all. Im a very sarcastic and fun person to be around....its just beating a dead horse.

ah hell it looks good to me! Everyone sucks when they first start out. cake decorating is LARGELY trial and error. If you saw the cakes i did when i first started..omg...i would have slapped myself. But that one looks good nuff to eat . Now wheres the milk! lol
