Windows Mobile 5

Recommended Posts

I have it and I love it. I am with verizon and have the Samsung i730 and Windows mobile runs really well. If you do find complaints from people, they probably don't realize that a pda phone works more like a computer, so you should turn it off and back on again to reset it. You can't just leave it on indefinitly like a regular cell phone.

Yeah. I don't know if this is a phone specific thing or OS specific, but Windows 5 is way better with the one hand operation thing. I can scroll through any program, pictures, or whatever without the stylus. It's takes getting used to, but it's a good set up once you get the hang of it.

I can say that Internet Explorer brings up the text based or mobile versions of webpages, so if you want to see the pages as they actually are, you will have to use a pdf browser or another internet browser. My phone came with Picsel Browser but I don't know if it's a part of the Windows 5 set up.
