WatchYourStep 0 #1 January 19, 2007 I just got settled in after returning from my recent trip to Florida. Instead of posting multiple threads in different areas I figured I'd just do it here. So here it goes: Sherry at Firefly: She got me an excellent FF suit in 6 weeks for the trip. I called her two weeks before I was leaving and she said I'd have it for the trip. It arrived 2 days before I left. The suit looks great. I'm excited to get more jumps in it. SkymonkeyONE: Chuck is one cool guy. He showed my friends and I an excellent time while visiting Z-Hills. It was cool to meet someone like Chuck who has such a knowledge of the sport. If you are headed that way and taking a friend or two with you who want to do a tandem, consider dropping him a PM. Plus I think he looks like an older version of Edward Norton. Dan Perry: Paige put me in touch with Dan for some coaching at the tunnel in Orlando. This guy is an unreal flyer and a heck of a coach. I did 3 x 15min pieces (I still have money left over for my XTi) and it was the best money I spent. If you are heading that way get a hold of call the tunnel and ask for him. Michelle: I can't recall her last name but she was a FF organizer there. I did two jumps with her and a few others. She was very friendly and gave me good advice when we got on the ground. She also took me out on my first head down exit, what a rush! Z-Hills: Overall this place was amazing. The vibe was great and it was just an overall good time. I wish I would have spent both days there instead of traveling to check out another DZ. While we were enjoying 80 degree weather in Florida our friends were enjoying 5 degree weather in Kansas. Ha ha. PS: Yes I know my beard is scruffy and needs to be trimmed up. I plan on doing getting rid of the whole thing before long. PPS: Pictures of suit to come.
