smiles 0 #1 January 20, 2007 Future Shop (cnd.) Purchased for $599.00 Jensen Multimedia Receiver (VM9311TS) This multimedia receiver comes with a fully motorized 7" wide LCD touch screen. It's a multi-format player that supports CD/DVD/MP3/WMA, not to mention iPod and XM Satellite Radio ready. I also purchased extra warranty for 3 yrs. As the wait to have it installed at Future Shop was weeks, I went to another shop to have it installed. Then realized that my iPod would only play in alphabetical order............???? Went back to Future Shop where they uninstalled the deck and installed a new one.......with the same problem. They couldn't figure this out so then suggested I try the iPod in the stores display model....same problem. So---then started to worry that my iPod was f*$$ed, .... Future Shop said they would install the cheaper $149.00--------200 Watt JVC KD-G320 Car Deck which lets you listen to your normal CDs, as well as MP3/WMA disks. With the optional adapter, it's also iPod enabled and satellite radio ready. The detachable face plate ensures that it won't be a target for would-be thieves.... and my iPod plays fine now!! Got money back but lost out on cost of labor for first installation of deck-----($100.00) SMileseustress. : a positive form of stress having a beneficial effect on health, motivation, performance, and emotional well-being. AggieDave 6 #2 January 20, 2007 I'm starting my restoration project on my car and one of the things I'm definately doing is having a sat radio and fully intrigrated Ipod connection that plays playlists and has full functionality through the head unit.
