skysprite 0 #1 January 18, 2007 I've been asking Grue for a clip that he has of one of my jumps (the infamous Magic Carpet from Eloy Holiday 05/06) for over a year now. No luck in getting it. However, I HAVE the clip, but on a larger video. Is it possible to take the clip from that video and make it its own clip? How? What do I need?~skysprite
pilotdave 0 #2 January 18, 2007 Got windows movie maker? Just import it, clip it at the beginning and end of the section you want, delete the rest, and save. Dave
skysprite 0 #3 January 18, 2007 Okay, tried that... it's a .mov and it said it can't be imported.~skysprite
Frenchy68 0 #4 January 18, 2007 That means it's a Quicktime. Go to Apple.com and download the free verison for Windows. In order to edit the clip though, you'd need Quicktime Pro (which is not free). The other option is to get a software such as SnapProZ (but for Windows) and grab a screen movie of the clip as it plays. It works great. base689 0 #5 January 18, 2007 Search with Google for SUPER - Simplified Universal Player & Renderer, it's a free software that converts any video format into any other video format. Once installed SUPER, convert your .mov video clip in .AVI (for example), then use Windows Movie Maker to extract the piece you want.Stay safe out there Blue Skies and Soft Walls BASE #689 - base_689AT_NO_123_SPAMyahoo.com
grue 1 #6 January 24, 2007 Hey, I gave you the address for the full version ages ago! I took it down because I figured you had it by now. I'll reupload it today :) EDIT: I guess that's not entirely true, I won't be reuploading the full version today, because the only copy I had was on my "Media backup drive", which died a couple of months ago. I can extract it from the smaller version you have though, I'll do that today.cavete terrae.
skysprite 0 #7 January 24, 2007 By full version do you mean the entire video (which I have), or just the clip (which I have now)? This thread has run it's course, so... BOOBIES!~skysprite
