Google around a bit. Its apart of the greater government conspiracy that is still covering up the exsistence of UFOs and our use of their technology.

I love reading about it all, but it seems a bit much to believe. How many hundreds of thousands of people would be involved and no one, not one credible witness has come forward?

They won't come forward because they have been controlled by the ever secret XJ-4711235RMCD. It is a mind control device that doesn't allow people to divulge their information because they have forgotten. It is kinda like the thing on Men in Black only bigger.

Its sort of reminds me of the 1-tandem jump "skydiver" that you meet in bars. Things are explained away to idiots, but once facts are lined up the story falls short.

I don't have a full dossier on the subject, but as I recall the basics of the story go something like this;

One day a guy goes to his mailbox and finds a canister of film (35mm?). The film has been rewound into the canister so he figures it's been exposed and has it developed. The developed film shows a few pages of documents (maybe 12-20) that are instructions for dealing with the incident at Roswell. On the cover page, the name given to the project is MAJESTIC 12 (or something very close to that) and as a result the documents are now referred to as the MJ-12 documents.

The documents make reference to certain people in power at the time; Truman and a few others (I certainly do NOT remember any of the BUSH family member ever being involved prior to this thread).

In THIS thread the original poster refers to a DR. Bush which certainly President Bush (41) never was and he certainly wasn't the DCI until much, MUCH later. See; https://www.cia.gov/cia/information/bush.html A quick check of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majestic_12 now shows a Dr. Bush being listed, but, well, anybody can rewrite history on Wiki.

So, in essence, the original post in this thread (and it appears now on Wiki) is just an attempt by someone (who's not particularly adept at doing this sort of thing) to implicate the Bush family into the story.

It's a bad attempt.

In REALITY . . . the MJ-12 documents were made up and the entire thing was a hoax perpetrated by a screenplay writer and self proclaimed UFO "expert", Standton Friedman (wacko) attempting to get a movie out of it. Although, you're going to have a VERY tough time filter that bit out of all the noise that has arisen from the mythology.

Friedman has made his entire "career" out of UFO mythology . . . beats working for a living I guess.

Yup. That's basically as I understand it, except that the MJ-12 group goes deeper to include the 12 leaders privlaged to the information and charged with keeping it covered up.

Its a wild web of bullshit, its fun to read and think about, but its about as likely as Dan Brown.
