freefalle 0 #6 January 25, 2007 Thanks Andrea... The incident occurred about a week ago, I was at the tag office waiting my turn. The guy about two seats over from me had apparently been waiting so damn long his heart stopped beating properly. He went into cardiac arrest and fell to the floor. I started CPR and one of the employee's brought me an automatic defibulater device. I attached it and delievered 1 shock, his heart started beating properly and he started breathing a couple of seconds later. Apparently he was sitting up and talking when he got to the hospital. How he is now, I dunno but the poor guy was alive when I left him. Ive heard he doing fine.....
skymama 37 #7 January 25, 2007 That's awesome, Chuck. So many times you hear of medical professionals not wanting to get involved because of liability issues. Kudos to you for stepping up to the plate! jceman 1 #11 January 25, 2007 Saw the link to the article on EMSResponder, but the Daytona News-Journal ran this article in today's edition. Well done, Chuck. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
