johnsw71 0 #1 January 26, 2007 Hey all, I'm trying to resize a mug shot of myself to use as my avatar (I'm kinda getting sick of the decapitated Hello Kitty), but the only photo software I have doesn't seem to be able to get it below the required 10kb size. I tried searching for previous posts for help, but most returns to a search for "reduction" were all about breast reduction, which is not going to help me with my photo. Icon134 0 #8 January 26, 2007 Its not quite as user friendly as Photoshop... but its not bad... and it can be downloaded here... http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html and there are a few good tutorials here http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/ and here: http://www.gimpguru.org/ If anyone needs help downloading/installing it... let me know... its not as daunting as it probably seems... I was just so sick of seeing Hello Kitty everywhere after five years in Japan that seeing her little head cut off made me feel good inside.
