AggieDave 6 #1 January 26, 2007 I'm a bit of an odd guy in many ways, but one of them is that I really enjoy listening to the director commentaries movies I've seen and enjoy. Its enjoyable to get some insite into the movie, etc. However, the director's commentary to Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby is completely off the wall and frigg'n hilarious! The director spends the entire moving making up incredibly outlandish stuff and talking about it. If you haven't listened to it, give it a try...it'll take a second since for about the first 3 seconds you're trying to figure out if they're serious, then its a riot!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." I'll have to give that a listen cause I-I like to party. It took 2-3 viewings for me to warm up to it but it came free on blu-ray w/ the PS3 so I'm not complaining. --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

monkycndo 0 #5 January 26, 2007 Sorry Dave, not going there. I'll take your word that something on the DVD was actually funny. It is one of the only movies I would have walked out on if I had seen it at the theater. It was bad enough that I wasted one of my Netflix options on it. I want that 90 minutes of my life back. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

BillyVance 35 #7 January 26, 2007 Ferrell and his sidekick would be fucking hilarious on the standup comedy circuit. That shit on the DVD was outrageous. However, some of the acting in his movies would make most people cringe... soooo fucking crude... Anyone remember "Legend of Ron Burgundy"? On a side note, it was nice to recognize a few roads in the Talladega Nights movie that I've driven on a bunch of times outside the Talladega track. It's only 10 miles from my home. Bolas 5 #9 January 26, 2007 A friend of mine was in a scene that got cut from the movie but is in the previews. They're playing wheelchair basketball and he's the guy taking the shot that Will gets up out of his chair to block. Another funny one to watch with the director commentary is the Dodgeball alternate ending. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.

Anyone remember "Legend of Ron Burgundy" That's the point, its apart of the Average American Guy trilogy. The third movie hasn't been made yet. I thought Ron Burgundy was freak'n hilarious and I thought that Talladega Night was even funnier. It fun to be able to "shut off" and just watch a stupid movie and laugh. Its a nice change from everyone's stressful lives.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
