gemini 0 #1 January 29, 2007 An event can't be posted because it is "6 mos out"? We can talk about boobies, skyride, and other crap for years, but not a skydiving event? And one that helps skydivers to boot! What are these new rules and where the hell are they posted? Or does a moderator just not want to hear about the specific event? skysprite 0 #10 January 29, 2007 At this rate my boobies probably won't show up at a boogie until 2013. So let's talk about my boobies showing up in Eloy for the Holiday 13/14 boogie! Oh god I hope I can get to a boogie before then! Need. To. Jump. NOW!~skysprite
PhreeZone 20 #11 January 29, 2007 Skymama has made mention of this in many previous posts in the Events fourm. The issue is that when people start threads 6+ months in advance it quickly becomes a thread that develops into 200 posts of people posting back and forth and not a location for actual information to be shared. We have recieved many complaints from less vocal members of the community about they are having to search many different threads to get info since the thread develops into a social thread instead of into an event information sharing thread. The usefulness of the fourm goes down if an event that is to be held next weekend gets bumped off the page by events that are not going to be held for another 6-12 months. If you want to discuss this please feel free to PM me about why I locked this thread.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
