Well...4 cups, give or take, today. :|

Mostly in the morning (I was up 'til 4:15am. Insomnia. :|)

Taper it off gradually to help ease the withdrawl symptoms

I think 4 cups is the magic number for the next couple of days...

Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

it's very hard to be in the non-drinker in the skydiving community, esp at boogies or a new dropzone where you dont' know anyone and need to get social and extend yourself. I don't really have a problem with the drinking and I may have a few down the road but i think for now it's best to stop everything and get healthy.

I have alot of friends that get drunk, then do coke to offset being drunk, then drink more followed by more blow, then take valiums or whatever to get to sleep and then take a hand fully of perks to kill the hang over. That's how I did it and in the bar scene you see it alot. I just don't thhink it's worth it and I hope I can set an example for others in that area.

Hard to steer that road, but I applaud you for it. Stick to your guns and your values....they won't steer you wrong. If the people at the DZ give you crap....maybe they just need some education...maybe they don't really need to know the real you..only you will be able to know that. I see these issues every day at work so remember, you alway have me backing you.;)

rad thanks!! I haven't gotten any shit from the friends at the dz, in fact I went to a boogie and didn't drink but brought beer for it being my first boogie, getting my a, and jumping my new rig, everyone was stoked and nobody cared that I didnt' drink, they thought it was cool that I stil brought 3 cases of Heineken.

It's the pressure I put on myself to be social around lots of new people without the liquid courage. It's all very new, I haven't had to hang out with a beer in my hand for.....well since I was a freshman in highschool...lol.
