Just not with any damn pineapple in it. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
Jewels 0 #27 February 1, 2007 Actually, I've also had an excellent mango salsa before. It's not traditional, but it's great anyway.TPM Sister #

NWFlyer 2 #31 February 1, 2007 QuoteSalsa has no fat and very low carbs. Same with the chips......yummy...still munchin'. Unless you're eating it with pork rinds, the chips have got a TON of carbs. But true, the salsa itself is generally quite healthy."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. ImGunnaJump 0 #32 February 1, 2007 I have to say I'm with Livendive on the pineapple/mango salsa thing - it doesn't sound too appealing to me either, although I have to admit I've never tried either. I'm usually willing to try everything once, so at some point I guess I will just to confirm my suspicions! I still want that steak and asparagus dinner...hmmm?? Azdave is going to have a lot of guests for dinner! Maybe we should bring some chips and salsa along . . . you know, a gift for the host. We'll have to bring a variety of flavors.TPM Sister #

Oh, that sounds good too...I know your'e making thai, but I started salivating when you said 'curry'. Ever since I started working for 3 Indian (asian indian) doctors, I love anything with curry! If it's hot enough to make my nose run, it's a goooood dinner! I just love Indian food - chicken tikka, samosas, Idly Sambar... I have to figure out something for dinner now, since I'm not gonna make it to Azdaves!"...I've learned that while the "needs" in life are important (food, water, shelter), it's the "wants" in life (ice cream, chocolate, sex) that make it worth the effort." NWFlyer 2 #38 February 2, 2007 I haven't tried doing my own Indian curries ... especially since the Indian restaurant down the street from my house is SO good. Hmm... will have to get Indian some time soon, too. As long as I skip the rice and naan it fits beautifully into my food plan."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please.
