LisaH 0 #1 January 30, 2007 Saturday morning I put a rat in the snake tank for the normal monthly feed. She doesn't want it. I have now been feeding this cohabitating rat cheerios and potato chips for 3 days. The pet store won't take it back. I have too many critters to look after as it is. I dont' need a pet rat. Any suggestions? Be yourself! MooOOooOoo
BillyVance 35 #2 January 30, 2007 Quote Any suggestions? If you have a 2nd floor apartment with a patio, toss it off and watch it flail all the way to the ground. Won't kill it, hell, not even hurt it, just knock the wind out of it and it'll eventually scamper off somewhere. Friend of mine did it... Of course, if it lets you pick it up in your hands and cuddle with you, it's a pet so you keep it. If it bites you or tries to when you get close, toss it..."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
cocheese 0 #3 January 30, 2007 Give the snake away and include a free rat, or set them both free and be free-er
Unstable 9 #4 January 30, 2007 there are some people I would LOVE to give a nice rat to. I could let it in their house while they sleep. =========Shaun ==========

skydemon2 0 #12 January 30, 2007 I wouldnt leave it in the same cage (I wouldnt feed a snake in its living quarters anyways) if your snake is getting ready to shed and doesnt want to eat it thats fine but if you leave it in the cage the rat may gnaw on the snake...... my friends snake got a huge scar that way, not saying it will happen to yours though.......Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone!
