VanillaSkyGirl 6 #1 February 2, 2007 Last week, I began classes for my Masters in Education degree. I have a tight schedule, since this is a transition. I also need to rack up my teacher work hours (6 months or 240 hours from now until Aug), take the CSETs (all three) and complete all teaching requirements. For the duration of the program, I will have group, as well as individual projects, presentations, research and essays due every week, even on the first day of all classes. I'd like information on how to set-up an internet study group chat room or forum. A teammate's brother might be able to help us set one up, but I thought that I'd ask here, as well. Thanks, everyone! NWFlyer 2 #2 February 2, 2007 You could use Yahoo groups or MSN groups (I strongly prefer Yahoo, though). Google has that functionality, too, now, though I haven't really looked at it. That would probably be the easiest to set up and manage. http://groups.google.com/grphp?hl=en&tab=wg&q= http://groups.yahoo.com/ http://groups.msn.com/"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. VanillaSkyGirl 6 #4 February 2, 2007 Is there a reason why you prefer Yahoo?
NWFlyer 2 #5 February 2, 2007 I haven't been a moderator or owner of a MSN group, so I'm not sure how good the tools are for those. I just find the yahoo interface and functionality better than MSN (that goes for the email, too)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. mouth 0 #6 February 3, 2007 Ours is set up through the school thankfully and they manage it. I don't know what I would do without it. I post any questions and people respond as they get on and see it. Great resource to have. We write our units there for final posting so everyone can add thoughts and comments. Work hard at it as the masters will be worth it. I have 2 more classes and then it is on to my Doctorate. That sounds funny doesn't it -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.
