yoink 321 #1 February 4, 2007 Hey all, I'll be making my first trip to Perris over Easter (!) with a friend. We were planning on staying at Anne Helliwell's house, but unfortunately it's not available when we're around. Does any one local know of similar off-DZ accomodation that I can contact? Cheers! winston_06 0 #7 February 4, 2007 hey just to let you know my univeristy has a skydiving club about 40 people are going to perris over easter and so the ihop and bunkhouse is going to be pretty full. but last year we had people camping for free. maybe an idea if you can cope with every morning being waken up with the first load and being in a tent! (they make you camp near the runway-its quite noisy!!)

IHOP = "International House of Parachutists". As for other accomodations. Call the school and talk to Lew. She has a house 1 mile down the road that -might- have a room available? If not, she might know of someone else. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
yoink 321 #9 February 4, 2007 It's nice to be able to get off the DZ on a holiday - sometimes you can just have too much skydiving! Chances are that anyone with less than a couple of years in the sport will be going 'Bullshit!' right after that last sentence. Cheers Lori, will do.
