freeflir29 0 #76 February 6, 2007 I do remember that. I want to say it was Jan 96. I would know that because I was "In the Field" at JRTC in Louisianna. It went from 58F when I woke up that morning to 9F on the PZ that night. Needless to say.........that was one MISERABLE night! I don't care who you are............9F in Louisianna is FREAKIN COLD! ChasingBlueSky 0 #79 February 6, 2007 On the ground: -27F in 1985 when it was so cold that the chain I used to walk my dog broke when he pulled on it. It was 10 years later when I saw the hottest temp in Chicago at 104F. Outside of that I know we have dropped below -20F a few other times. However, its been about 10 years since it's been this cold in Chicago. (-8F last night) In the air: -29F.....gotta love skydiving in Jan in Chicago. btw, all of these are real temps, not adjusted temps_________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me....
