ChasingBlueSky 0 #1 February 6, 2007 I don't think there has been a bad episode yet on this show, and last nights was just great. Who knew that Matt LeBlanc could actually act?! That introduction speech he gave for Harriet was so good and painful at the same time. They handle each story line with incredible grace, finding more depth to some typical tv plot cliches. I really hope this show keeps going, its easily one of my favorite shows now._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... wildblue 7 #2 February 6, 2007 Haven't seen last nights yet... although tonight might be a good time considering we're getting an ass-ton of snow and there'll be nothing better to do. Really like the show, and can't believe it almost got canceled early in it's run.it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality
okalb 104 #3 February 6, 2007 I agree with everything you said except for the part about Matt LeBlanc actually being able to act. Matt LeBlanc is not on Studio 60 Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

okalb 104 #5 February 6, 2007 QuoteAll those Friends actors are the same to me :p Actually Matthew Perry was in 2 episodes of West Wing and he was fantastic in those as well. Thats why I wasn't suprised when Sorkin picked him for the role on Studio 60.Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

NWFlyer 2 #7 February 6, 2007 QuoteYeah, I freakin' love that show. Finally, a reason to look forward to Mondays. You mean besides Heroes? Haven't watched this week's episode of either show yet, but it's on my agenda for this evening. Heroes was on last night and I had to avert my eyes from the TV that was showing it."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. TIVO is your friend! Heroes, Studio 60 and 24. With my job that takes most of the week to get thru those shows._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Apparently Neilson has apologized for making mistakes about the ratings for Studio 60. They have recently discovered that it is the most TIVO'd show on the air. They had not taken that into account in the original numbers. Hopefully that keeps the show from getting canceled, because there is a lot of talk about them not making any more episodes.Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana
NWFlyer 2 #10 February 6, 2007 The problem with Studio 60 was that it was overhyped and started weak. It took me 3 or 4 episodes to really warm up to it. I stuck with it because it's Sorkin and I worship Sorkin, but I can see a lot of people saying "eh, it's not worth the hype" and abandoning it."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
kelel01 1 #11 February 6, 2007 I got tricked into watching it, and immediately fell in love with it. I spent about 10 minutes going, "Why is The West Wing at a TV studio?".

Funny, I am HUGE Sorkin fan and I remember when I first started watching West Wing I thought, why is Sports night at the White House Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana
tigra 0 #13 February 6, 2007 I agree- it was over hyped and it also took me a few episodes to really warm up to the characters. Its funny though- as the show started growing on me, the critics that had initially praised the show started panning it.
