Hambone 0 #1 February 7, 2007 Its sad but its for the better, She was not in a good place in the winter of her life. She didn't seem to know where she was, and she had sufffered a terrible stroke a couple of years ago. I am just not sure how i am supposed to feel. Happy cuz she is in a better place? Sad because I lost a loved one. Though i feel like i said goodbye years ago. She I know that i need to be strong for my Mom and Dad, I don't know that I really know how to act. I am just a little stunned eventhough it was pretty much expected. Annie McInnis or Nannie as we called her was an amazing woman, she loved everyone around her and always had a caring word, and loved those little cokes that come in glass bottles. I used to love to visit her and hang around in her house. She had a big house with a HUGE yard, and she would let me drive her "tractor" around. It was actually a riding lawn mower, but to a 10 year old, thats enough. Thankyou to everyone for listening.Yeah...You need to grow up. -Skymama

Muenkel 0 #4 February 7, 2007 My condolences to you and your family. I really never understood how important the relationship with a grandparent was because mine were deceased before I was born. Now, my parents have 18 grandchildren ages 10 months to 25 years. I see now the very special relationship between a grandparent/grandchild. Be thankful for the time you had with her. You're a fortunate person.Chris _________________________________________ Chris
popsjumper 2 #5 February 7, 2007 Hammy, take comfort in the time you had with her and know that she is in a better place. My reality and yours are quite different.
