happythoughts 0 #1 February 11, 2007 It seems that people have no sense of adventure. Today at the gas station, I got a Coke (plastic bottle) and a bag of peanuts. I then put the peanuts into the Coke. (If it fills to the top, just tilt the bottle bottom-up for a moment.) Carrying the bag ties up two hands when you try to shake some out. If they are in the bottle, you drive with the Coke and peanuts in one hand. People acted like they'd never seen it before. Do they live in a cave or what? I even offered people a taste. No takers. No sense of adventure.

happythoughts 0 #4 February 11, 2007 QuoteI think i'll stick with barbie heads. There is nothing wrong with talking about my nuts. Let your fear go. I know you are thinking, "If I only had Coke and some nuts in my mouth..." Two weeks from now, it will be The New Thing. Be on the forefront.
RkyMtnHigh 0 #5 February 11, 2007 But were those peanuts, BOILED peanuts? If so, then you'd get my attention!!! I love boiled peanuts and we can only find those out in the mountains or country areas here and it cracks me up to see the signs "Boild P-Nuts" ...handwritten, of course _________________________________________

happythoughts 0 #8 February 11, 2007 Nah, the regular salted peanuts that come in those little plastic pouches. Just pour them into the bottle. There is a guy who sells boiled peanuts next to my road. That is how I give directions. "Drive about a mile from MB, you'll see the guy selling peanuts on the right. Take the next right." Good things about boiled peanuts. Bio-degradable. When driving long distances, just whip the shells out the window. Courtesy. If someone is tailgaiting you, bounce a couple of shells off their windshield. Friendship. If you want to meet a new girl, offer her a couple. "I've got a couple of fresh squirrels in the trunk too." (That's just an irresistible combination.)

Yeah, but eventually you realize, how important is it to drive anywhere else? Total lack of valuable culture. You can't eat opera and drive. Today it was in the low 70s, totally clear, my last jump was on load 19. No peanuts or jumping. What suffering...

Wish they sold them here ... There is a pot in a lot of convenience stores. "Mickeys" They are good, but they lack the special flavor. People boil them in a drum in the front yard. Before they cook the peanuts, they boil their laundry clean. That gives the peanuts a little extra salty flavor. (Well... ok, I was just kidding about the laundry part.) (Probably)
