After 1 week of "belly-off"

Recommended Posts

I'm a bit hungry, and my legs are so sore I almost fell getting out of bed. I imagine not everyone will want to weigh-in, but it's motivational for me (keeping it public reduces risk of taking a week off), and it might be motivational for someone else.

Original weigh-in: 217.5
Last weigh-in: 217.5
Current weigh in: 211.5
Weight loss this week: 6 lbs
Total weight loss: 6 lbs

With the bum leg, trying to work out just makes the leg swell in the cast and hurt. So until I get the walking boot, just watching what I eat is the best I can do. Not much lost, but at least it's something.

Original weigh-in: 178
Last weigh-in: 177

I've gone from 165 to 168 so far (yeah, I'm one of those guys coming from the other direction, so just deal with it!;)) I'm shooting for 175-180. I have noticed a difference in the abs area with a bit of definition starting to kick in. I've been off desserts and ice cream for one week and feel great. I even took a skydiver in town yesterday to the local famous ice cream parlor and just watched while he pondered, ordered and had one of those orgasmic looks with his first bite. Now THAT'S determination!!

Wow, good job! Did you get a head start on the rest of us or did you drop 11 lbs in just 1 week? I'm looking forward to 200 lbs as a nice milestone, also 195.5, which will represent a 10% drop in body weight. There's an outside chance I could see a 15% reduction (to 185 lbs) in a 3 month timeframe, but 20% (to 174) would seem to be near impossible.

I actually started working out in October. My starting weight then was 225. So my metabolism had a bit of a jump start when we started this competition. I hope no one views this as cheating. [:/] I just figured that knowing my picture would be posted on the internet was another incentive for me to work out. But the before picture I submitted was taken on Jan 30th.

Perhaps I'm both a moron and an idiot, but could somebody explain the difference between last weigh-in and current weigh-in? If you just weighed in now (current), isn't that the last weigh-in? (Yes, I was blond as a child)

John, I'm glad it was you taking Ori and not me. I would not have had the will power to refuse the ice cream.

So that was planned?! NOW I know why you passed him onto me last night -- you KNEW he wanted to go to three different ice cream joints! Bald bitch! >:( (Oh, I forgot, you're growing hair now, so I can't even call you that. BTW, did you deduct out the weight of your new hair when you weighed yourself? That might help. he he)

Not really going for much weight loss, but my arms and abs are sore and my pants are already fitting looser. Now if I can just get through a weekend of less than ideal weather at the DZ without too much beer or food, I'll be off to a great start!

Umm... I worked out once this week........

Okay, I've been bad. I had two chocolate donuts for breakfast yesterday. And onion rings for lunch. And pizza for dinner. But I did have diet coke. :D

Original weighin: 132.5
Last weigh-in: 132.5
Current weigh-in: 132.5

We need to keep threads like this bumped up near the top so that we(well, me, I guess) can stay motivated.

I don't really care about the weight, but I do want to eat better and get toned up. Bad Yvonne!!!!!!

I'm gonna do better!!

Yeah, but it's kinda freaky that you remembered. :D Had to take last night off. I couldn't descend the stairs at work without holding on to the rail. :S:D

I was just going to exercise and and eat better... I hadn't planned on weighing myself... :S:$

There were no weigh-in requirements. It's just something that helps me, so I posted mine. ;)
