guppie01 0 #1 February 16, 2007 So... we're having a conversation in the office re: marriage and how the Bride typically wants the "dream" wedding and the Groom just goes along with it (less hassle that way).... which then led to old traditions, such as coming out balls etc. where in the past women pretty much didn't have a choice and were more or less given to a man... fast forward to the present and how women are much more independent, yet men complain about it. Anyway one of the ladies busts out with: "well if you men would just realize that if you give us more independence and pay us more, the less we'll have to bug you for anything." Mind you, this lady is in her late 60's - CLASSIC coming from her. g"Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?"
